Course Description:
Students who like to work with their hands and enjoy the challenge of working with metals should consider the Welding program. The program is designed to accommodate both male and female students. This program provides training in all phases of welding, including gas welding, electric arc welding, and the more advanced techniques of MIG and TIG welding. Students will gain experience in identifying and joining a wide range of metals and will develop the special skills necessary for success in the trade. The Welding program prepares students for jobs in construction, manufacturing, and repair work. Student success in the Welding program is enhanced by good communication skills, basic math abilities, and a sound work ethic.

Two years to earn a completion certificate

Salary Range:
$22,500-$50,700 annual wage (average wage $35,370)

1st Block:          Welding           8:00 - 9:30
2nd Block:         Conference       9:40 - 11:10
              "A" Lunch                  11:10 - 11:40
3rd Block:          Welding           11:45 - 1:15
4th Block           Welding            1:25 -2 :55
