Program Overview

The welding program provides training in 9 segments.
  • Occupational Orientation
  • Safety and Health of Welders 
  • Drawing and Welding Symbol Interpretation
  • Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Principles and Practices
  • Gas Metal Arc Welding(GMAW,GMAW-S) Principles and Practices
  • Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW-G/GM) Principles and Practices
  • Gas Tungsten Welding (GTAW) Principles and Practices 
  • Thermal Cutting Principles and Practice
  • Welding Inspection and Testing Principles and Practices







You'll gain hands-on experience in the above welding processes, and receive training in safe use of equipment, blueprint reading, interpreting welding symbols, welding principles, and the ability to determine weld quality. Upon satisfactory completion of the program, the student will be awarded a completion certificate in welding.
